SRI LANKA Overs: 40.1 II Score: 172/2 ( Thirimanne 102*, Kushal 14*)

Lahiru Thirimanne brings up his well deserved century and the winning runs in style with a boundary off Maxwell. This is his maiden ODI ton and isn’t he delighted! Well played and with this Sri Lanka have drawn level in the five-match series. They have defeated Australia by eight wickets.

SRI LANKA Overs: 38 II Score: 159/2 ( Thirimanne 91*, Kushal 13*)

An expensive over from Xavier Doherty as the Sri Lankans collect 12 runs off it. Perera hit a six over deep square leg boundary to bring up the 150 runs for his team. He followed that up with a boundary though cover region. Sri Lanka are just 12 runs away from the win.

SRI LANKA Overs: 31 II Score: 124/1 (Dilshan 50*, Thirimanne 70*)

Dilshan too has completed his fifty. This is his 29th ODI half-century. There was a chance of Australia getting a wicket off the first delivery of this over from Kane Richardson as Dislhan hit one straight back to the bowler. Thirimanne, who was backing up, had to make a dash to avoid getting run out as the ball hit Richardson’s hand and missed the stumps.

Sri Lanka have crossed the 100-run mark and are now just 68 runs short of a deserved victory. They have treaded carefully, not taking unnecessary risks while not wasting opportunities to score a boundary or two.
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA Overs: 24 II Score: 90/1 (Dilshan 37*, Thirimanne 50*)

====================================================================================

SRI LANKA Overs: 18 II Score: 64/1 (Dilshan 25*, Thirimanne 36*)

Doherty was left dejected as Smith at midwicket dropped a difficult catch of Thirimanne there. Off the final delivery, Dilshan was hit on the pads and the Aussies went up in unison. The umpire wasn’t impressed. However, the fielding team went for the review and it showed that the delivery would have missed the leg stump!
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA Overs: 17 II Score: 62/1 (Dilshan 24*, Thirimanne 35*)It

Sri Lanka have recovered from that early jolt they were given in the first over by McKay and have safely moved past 50-run mark without any further damage to the innings. Off the last over from Richardson, Thirimanne played a cover drive that went for a boundary. Six runs came from the over. Drinks have been called. Australia need wickets if they want to keep Sri Lanka on backfoot. However, for the batting team, this is a golden chance to draw level in the series. They need just 109 runs to win this contest now.
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA Overs: 10 II Score: 32/1 (Dilshan 16*, Thirimanne 13*)It

It has been a watchful session so far from the Lankan batsmen. The score they are chasing isn’t an imposing one. So, they can afford to play out these initial overs safely.
====================================================================================

SRI LANKA Overs: 0.3 II Score: 0/1 (Dilshan 0*, Thirimanne 0*)

OUT! Clint McKay claims the first wicket in Upul Tharanga! It was an angled delivery from the pacer and as the southpaw went after it for a drive, the ball took an edge and landed in Haddin’s gloves. He departs for nought! In comes Lahiru Thirimanne.

AUSTRALIA Overs: 16.4 II Score: 51/3 (Hussey 15*, Smith 0*)
