New York: Fallen pop diva Whitney Houston is all set to appear on Oprah Winfrey`s show where she will sit down with the talk show queen for her first interview in almost seven years.
The Grammy winning singer, who was once one of the biggest stars in music, faced a career decline after getting embroiled in drug use charges, New York Daily News reported.
The 46-year-old artist became a regular feature on tabloid due to her troubled marriage to Bobby Brown. The singer, who was one of the biggest selling music artists in the world at the peak of her career, divorced Brown in 2007.
Winfrey is launching the 24th season of her hit daytime talk show on September 14 with an exclusive interview of Houston, New York Daily News reported.
And it is believed that the yesteryear`s diva will sing to while on the show.
Winfrey has called the visit "the most anticipated music interview of the decade." It would be Houston`s first interview in nearly seven years after her interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC in 2002, where she dealt with allegations of drug use.
Houston is trying to rebuilt her music career with a comeback CD `I Look To You`, which releases on August 31.
