Bangladesh vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2016, Match 8: Players to watch out for in crucial game

Mirpur: In a must-win game, Shahid Afridi-led Pakistan take on Bangladesh in Match 8 of Asia Cup 2016.

A lot will depend on today's match as in case Mashrafe Mortaza and his boys emerge victorious, it will be end of the tournament for Pakistan as well as Sri Lanka, who have been very inconsistent in the tournament.

Here are some of the players to watch out for in today's match:

Mohammad Amir: He has been in sensational form for Pakistan in the tournament where he has troubled the best of batsmen. While he picked three wickets against India, he achieved a rare feat by bowling 21 dot balls against UAE. The team would want him to bowl a match-winning spell in such a crucial match.

Shahid Afridi: Along with several other fans, Javed Miandad has questioned his place in the team. Being the skipper and the most experienced player in the squad, Pakistan would want the all-rounder to bring his experience into count and play a big role in today's match.

Shakib Al Hasan: He is Bangladesh's biggest cricketing superstar and he has had a quite tournament so far according to his standards. Even though he has picked five wickets from three matches, Shakib's highest score in the tournament is 32 against Sri Lanka which came in previous match. The team needs a much more better effort from him today.

Mashrafe Mortaza: Since Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out of the tournament due to an injury, the onus is now on the skipper to get crucial breakthroughs for the team early in the innings. Mortaza has tons of experience under his belt and he needs to lead from the front today.
