India vs Pakistan: We love to play aggressive cricket, says MS Dhoni after crushing arch-rivals

New Delhi: After helping India drub old rivals Pakistan by five wickets in the Asia Cup T20 on Saturday, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni looked satisfied with his team's bowling efforts.

Bowling first, Indian bowlers restricted Pakistan for a paltry total of 85 runs.

"We are a team that loves to play aggressive cricket but this pushes us to respect the conditions which will be good going into the WT20. I'm glad we restricted them to 85 runs, 100 or 110 runs and the game was on," said Dhoni after winning the match by five wickets.

Dhoni felt the key for India's win was to taking wickets at regular intervals.

"The fast bowlers did well but even after that we took wickets at regular intervals which is crucial to stop runs in this format.

Indian players also fielded exceptional well in the match, and the skipper hailed the efforts by putting into right perspective.

“We have to be switched on in the field, that is one department where you can guarantee performance, one run out can take the game away from the opposition," said the Indian skipper.
