Melbourne: With his swashbuckling style of batting, Australia's big-hitting batsman Glenn Maxwell is often compared with Virender Sehwag, who was also known for attacking batting irrespective of the situation.
Soon after his match-winning 96-run knock against India in the 3rd ODI, the right-hander was asked by the media if he was a distant cousin of Sehwag.
The 27-year-old responded showed his lighter side when he said, “I have more hair than Sehwag."
Maxwell on Saturday played one of his finest ODI knocks as he single-handedly helped Australia take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
India were in total control of the match after the hosts had lost their sixth wicket for just 215 runs, while chasing 295. But Maxwell took the game away from MS Dhoni-led India, as he, along with James Faulkner, added 80 runs for the seventh-wicket partnership which proved to be decisive.
