New Delhi: One can say that India started off their preparations for the forthcoming the ICC World T20 on a positive note by crushing Australia 3-0 in the T20 series.

Immediately after beating Australia by seven wickets in a thrilling 3rd T20 at Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday, limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni indicated that Team India will retain more or less same squad for ICC World T20.

"There might be one or two changes based on the conditions in the World T20, but this is roughly what our T20 side will look like," Dhoni revealed during post match interview.

Dhoni credited Indian bowlers for clinching the series and heaped praise on ageing Ashish Nehra and youngster Jasprit Bumrah.

"A lot of credit to the bowlers. In the ODI series the batsmen were doing well, but we needed the extra 10 per cent from the bowlers. That has changed with (Jasprit) Bumrah coming in, Nehra's experience and others getting their act together.

"The batsmen have taken it up a notch, but it is the bowlers who have done their job better, which has made the difference,” added Dhoni.

National selectors called back their veterans Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Ashish Nehra to give them a chance to prove their mettle, ahead of the T20 World Cup, which is to take place in India.

Though Bhajji didn't get a chance in any of the three matches, Yuvi and Nehra made a good comeback in the team.

Youngsters in the Bumrah and Hardik Pandya too looked promising as India emerged as one of the strong contenders to lift the World T20 trophy for the 2nd time.

A whitewash Down Under also helped India reach the top of latest ICC World T20 rankings.
