Yuvraj Singh: Hazel Keech asks why fiance wasn't sent out to bat in 2nd T20I

New Delhi: Yuvraj Singh on Friday changed course of the 2nd T20I with the timely wicket of Glenn Maxwell in over number 12.

At a time when Indian bowlers were under pressure, Yuvi's left-arm spin helped Dhoni stem the run flow.

The 34-year-old gave away just seven runs during his two-over spell at an economy rate of 3.50.

However, Yuvi's fiance Hazel Keech wasn't too pleased about the fact the left-hander did not get a chance to bat for the second consecutive match.

Taking to Twitter, Hazel questioned why Yuvi wasn't sent in to bat despite being picked in the playing 11.

However, some of her followers were not amused with her tweet and began trolling her. Hazel immediately deleted her post after the backlash from the Twitterati.

Some even compared her to Yuvi's father Yograj, who has repeatedly hit out at ODI skipper MS Dhoni for the injustice meted out to his son.

Some followers informed the actor that it would take some time for the World Cup winner to hit form at the international level and perform as per high expectations of his fans.

To that, Hazel's response was, “How would people know till he is even given a chance?”.

She went on to delete that tweet as well.

"Yuvi have had just one net session, which is why I promoted myself ahead of Yuvraj," said Dhoni after the 1st T20I win.

However, if things go as per plan, Hazel will get to watch her man bat in the 3rd ODI.

With series in the bag, players like Yuvraj and Suresh Raina are expected to be promoted in the batting line-up in order to get much-need batting time.
