Hambantota: Bad light caused by dark, threatening clouds stopped play after just two overs in the third one-day international between England and Sri Lanka in Hambantota on Wednesday.

Sri Lanka, who elected to bat, were 6-1 with Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara at the crease.

Kusal Perera was caught at point by Eoin Morgan off Chris Woakes for nought in the second over.

Sri Lanka hold a 2-0 lead in the seven-match series.
