Balaram Nakhwa passes away

Thane: Sportsman Balaram Nakhwa died of old age this morning at his residence here, family sources said.

He was 91 and is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.

Besides being associated with cricket and kabbadi coaching, he found several clubs and had been a refree. He was associated with young stars cricket club of Khandu Rangnekar.

He was the founder member of bombay hc cricket club. He was also trustee of Koupineshwar temple trust and associated with several sports clubs in Thane.

He participated in demonstration of Kabaddi in moscow. His funeral was largely attended on Thursday.
