New Delhi: While Jagmohan Dalmiya made a comeback as the BCCI president after ten years, CK Khanna beat Madhya Pradesh's Jyotiraditya Scindia to become the central zone vice-president.

In the two contests for vice-president, Delhi's CK Khanna defeated Jyotiraditya Scindia to become the central zone vice-president while Kerala's TC Mathew defeated Mumbai's Ravi Sawant to become vice-president from the West Zone.

In other developments, Anurag Thakur, who was the joint-secretary earlier, became the new secretary edging out Sanjay Patel by a close margin of 15-14.

Anurag Thakur (Haryana) was the nominee from the Pawar faction and he won the secretary post by one vote. His opponent was Sanjay Patel (Baroda), favoured by Srinivasan.
