BCCI plotting N Srinivasan's TNCA ouster: Report

New Delhi: Rumors are rife about N Srinivasan being replaced at the ICC, but if insiders are to be believed than Shashank Manohar and co are instead plotting the Tamil Nadu strongman's downfall at the TNCA.

According to a report in the Times of India, the new board president is open to the idea of supporting another lobby in Tamil Nadu that is capable of toppling Srinivasan.

However, beating the current ICC chairman on home turf may not be all that easy.

"In Tamil Nadu, he's untouchable. His clout runs over 40 clubs, some 25-30 district members and his generosity has left people in awe of him. Who's there to challenge him?" source was quoted as saying by TOI.

It is a well known fact that ICC chairman's position is not as important as that of the BCCI president.

For now, Manohar's priority is to keep his own backyard clean and uprooting his old friend Srinivasan from his TNCA chair could be a solid beginning.
