Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday congratulated Indian cricket team for entering the semifinal of cricket World Cup after beating Bangladesh in Melbourne.

Kumar praised the Indian team for registering seventh win on the trot in the ongoing World Cup, a statement from Chief Minister's Office said.

Kumar also congratulated captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the 100th victory of the team under his leadership.

He exuded confidence that India would win the World Cup trophy.

Jubilant crowd also danced on the streets here to celebrate India's victory against Bangladesh.
