Lahore: After being locked in a `cold war` for a long period, Pakistan Sports Minister Aijaz Jakhrani and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt seems to have become `close buddies`, as they would travelling together to England on board`s expense to watch the two match Test series against Australia.
Butt and Jakhrani are scheduled to leave for London on July 10 to watch the first Test at Lord`s starting July 13.
Earlier, the minister had also made a trip to the West Indies, courtesy the PCB, to watch the ICC World Twenty20 matches there, a newspaper reports.
It is worth mentioning here that both Butt and Jakhrani were engaged in a bitter battle over the issue of new PCB constitution with the later trying to get hold of board`s administration.
However, Jakhrani`s attempt was thwarted back by Butt, as he took the matter to President Asif Ali Zardari, board`s patron.
Interestingly, while both Butt and Jakhrani have developed cordial relations, the bone of contention between the two -PCB`s new constitution - is yet to be resolved.
