PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 235/10 II Overs: 77.6 (Irfan 6*)

Graeme Smith has recorded his 50th Test win as a captain defeating Pakistan in the third and final Test by an innings and 18 runs. Rahat Ali was then last man to be dismissed after being out lbw off Peterson. He scored 22 (27b, 4X5).

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 224/9 II Overs: 75 (Irfan 4*, Ali 18*)

Rahat Ali is enjoying in the middle and has so far hit four boundaries in his score of 18 runs. One of them came as a result of a dropped catch by AB de Villiers– a tough one though. With this victory, Smith will become the captain with most victories in Test history – his 50th.

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 202/9 II Overs: 70 (Irfan 0*, Ali 0*)

Pakistan are trailing by 45 runs with just one wicket in hand. Can they avoid an innings defeat? Sarfraz Ahmed and Ehsan Adil were the two wickets to fall. Ahmed was caught at third man by Elgar off Steyn while Adil fell to Abbott after being caught by Kleinveldt. Dale Steyn has four wickets. Abbott, Kleinveldt and Peterson have two wickets each while Philander is yet to open his account.

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 185/7 II Overs: 65 (Ahmed 33*, Adil 2*)

South Africa are just three wickets away from winning this third and final Test. Saeed Ajmal is the latest batsman to depart after being given lbw off Dale Steyn. He reviewed it but the decision was upheld. He scored 31 (57b, 4X4, 6X1). Pakistan still trailing by 68 runs with three wickets in hand.

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 137/6 II Overs: 55 (Ajmal 15*, Ahmed 32*)

Pakistan have lost their six wickets. Asad Shafiq was the sixth batsman to be dismissed becoming Kleinveldt second dismissal. He was caught by Philander at mid-off. He scored 6 (14b, 4X1). Saeed Ajmal is the new batsman in the middle.

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 107/5 II Overs: 47 (Shafiq 0*, Ahmed 0*)

10 overs have been bowled after lunch and Pakistan have lost three quick wickets. Azhar Ali was the first to depart after being run out that ended a dogged stand between him and Imran Farhat. The next wicket fell to Abbot as Farhat was adjudged caught behind. Misbah-ul-Haq followed his teammate in the next over after edging Kleinveldt sixth delivery to AB de Villiers leaving his team in big trouble.

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 87/2 II Overs: 37 (Ali 27*, Farhat 32*)

LUNCH Azhar Ali and Imran Farhat have showed resilience after Pakistan had lost the wicket of veteran Younis Khan early in the day. The current partnership is now worth 48 runs. Khan fell to a brilliant delivery from Steyn that took an edge and was snaffled by Smith at first slip. Still two more sessions are remaining in the day. They’re still trailing by 166 runs with eight wickets remaining.

PAKISTAN (2nd innings) Score: 43/2 II Overs: 17 (Azhar Ali 18*)

And Steyn is all charged up as he dismisses Younis Khan, yet once again! It pitched on middle and off, Younis Khan had to play it, he did and edged that towards slips where Smith’s huge hands made no mistake. So Younis Khan vs Steyn has been a fascinating contest to watch throughout this series, and the World No. 1 bowler has the last laugh! Imran Farhat is the new batsman.

Younis Khan c Smith b Steyn 11 (46b)
