While chasing a mammoth target of 348 runs set By India Blue, India Red tried their level best to chase it but eventually lost the match by 11 runs. Extra runs while bowling hurt India Red the most. But overall it was a good match as more than 600 runs were scored in the match. Mukund remained the highest scorer for India Red, who scored 83 runs in mere 86 balls.

India Red need 104 runs 60 balls. Yusuf Pathan is back in the pavilion and it is certainly a relief for India Blue. Pathan flopped badly as he only managed to score one run before giving his wicket to Yuvraj Singh. SK Patel who was playing well on 67 is back in the pavilion as he was retired hurt.

After playing affine knock of 83 runs in 86 balls Mukund was caught by Saxena off Vinay Kumar. He lacked with nine boundaries and a six in his well times knock. After the end of 30 overs India Red has scored167 runs with the loss of two wickets. But they now desperately need to score runs quickly as they require 179 runs in last 20 overs.

After losing Uthappa early on, SK Patel and A Mukund are playing sensibly. Mukund has crossed the mark of fifty runs whereas Patel is on 27. But now both of them have to accelerate the run-rate a bit keeping in mind that they are chasing a challenging total.

In the first ten overs India Red played cautiously after losing opener R Uthappa in the fourth over off Vinay Kumar. They only managed to add 45 runs in ten overs while chasing a huge target of 345. A Mukund and S Patel are at the crease for India Red.

India Blue have set a huge total in front of India Red after being offered to bat first. Yuvraj Singh has played yet another scintillating knock to help his team to post 345 runs on the board. A Nayar gave his skipper good company by playing a knock of 75 runs.

After playing solid knocks top of the order, Reddy and Pandey are back in the pavilion after scoring 84 and 70 runs respectively. Now skipper Yuvraj Singh is at the crease and is looking comfortable at 27. With him is A Nayar, who is playing on 17. Now from here on, India Blue must be looking for a score around 320 plus.

In the 29th over India Blue crossed the mark of 150 runs. In last ten overs India Blue haven’t lost any wicket and are heading towards a big score. Pandey and Reddy both have completed their half-centuries and are looking solid at the moment.

Even after losing their first wicket early on in the form of N Ojha, India Blue are playing sensible cricket. M Pandey is on 30 after facing 44 balls and with him is P Reddy who is batting on 36.
