====================================================================================

Over 3 || Score 18/1

Samson got a thick edge off the fourth ball that flew past the slip cordon for a boundary. The fifth ball was a half-volley and Samson handsomely bisected the gap between mid-on and midwicket for a boundary! 12 runs from the over, would be frustrating for Johnson.

====================================================================================

TOSS:Rahul Dravid and won the toss and he has decided to bowl first.

Rajasthan Royals might have a slight advantage in today`s match as the match will be played on their home ground – Sawai Mansingh Stadium, which is considered to be their fortress as they have a record of winning most of the matches there. The team management have gone through a tough time after the IPL 2013 as their players were involved in IPL spot-fixing and Rahul Dravid will have a job up his sleeves to motivate his boys to do well in the tournament.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand would be high on confidence after winning IPL 2013. Sachin Tendulkar will once again remain the highlight of the team and as skipper Rohit Sharma said, the youngsters in the team would want to gift him another trophy. Meanwhile, the Mumbai squad will desperately miss the absence of their bowling spearhead – Lasith Malinga who opted out of the tournament due to some personal commitments.

Teams:

Rajasthan (From): Rahul Dravid(c), Dishant Yagnik(w), Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson, Shane Watson, Brad Hodge, Stuart Binny, Tom Cooper, Siddharth Trivedi, Rahul Shukla, Shaun Tait, Ashok Menaria, Vikramjeet Malik, Pravin Tambe, James Faulkner
