New Delhi: His team has done exceptionally well in the Champions League Twenty 20 and Rahul Dravid would be an extremely happy man if even he too can contribute some runs with the bat, in what is his final appearance in a limited overs match. Rajasthan Royals are the only unbeaten team in the tournament and most of their players have clicked when as a unit. Dravid has scored just 47 runs from five matches and his individual form might be the only matter of concern for the team management. After a slow start in the tournament, Ajinkya Rahane was back at his supreme best and he has scored three consecutive half-centuries so far. Despite losing Dravid’s wicket early in the innings on several occasions, Rahane made sure he stood at one end meanwhile not hesitating to punish the loose deliveries. While players like Rahane, Sanju Samson and Shane Watson have done the job on the top of the order, veteran Australian batsman Brad Hodge has won a few matches single-handedly down the order. But the Royals will miss the services of the T20 specialist after he was injured in the semi-final against Chennai Super Kings. In his absence, while others would want to click as a unit, Dravid too would want to end his limited overs career on a high, whatever may be the result.
