Pollard seems in a hurry to finish off the match. He has hit two massive sixes and a boundary in the last 17th and 18th overs, which added 31 runs in the Mumbai Indian’s total. With 10 balls remaining Mumbai Indians need 3 runs to win. With one run needed off nine balls, Sohail Tanveer delivered a wide ball, and gave away the match to Mumbai Indians.

Imran Tahir delivers a good eighth over; takes Karthik’s wicket and concedes only two runs. Rohit Sharma is the new batsman at the crease. Phangiso comes in to attack in the 9th over. Sharma hits a brilliant boundary off Phangiso’s delivery. 10 runs off the over. The end of 10th over adds 8 runs in the Mumbai Indian’s kitty with Smith hitting a boundary off Tahir’s delivery.

Jaipur: Defending champions Mumbai Indians were jolted to a shock defeat by Rajasthan Royals in their opening game before their second tie was washed out. Mumbai Indians would be eager to stamp their authority in a do-or-die battle against Highveld Lions in their Group A game of the Champions League.
The Lions have also lost one match while the second got abandoned. Both the teams have just two points from as many outings and in order to keep their chances alive in the tournament, would need to win.
