Yorkshire beat Middlesex on Wednesday at Lord's to successfully defend their County Championship title.

New Delhi: Yorkshire beat Middlesex on Wednesday at the Lord's to successfully defend their English County Championship title.

Durham were the last side to win back-to-back titles in 2008 and 2009.

Many international cricketers took to Micro-blogging site Twitter to wish the club for retaining the title.
