London: Hard-hitter Chris Gayle who made a comeback into the national team recently, managed to score just 34 runs against Middlesex on Wednesday.
The Jamaican, who ended his 15-month long impasse with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), hit two sixes and four boundaries during his short stay.
Gayle, who has dominated the T20 format all across the world over the last one year, was included in the playing eleven for the upcoming series against England.
He last played for the national side in March 2011 against Pakistan in World Cup final.
