Over 20 || Score 142/7

Sharma to bowl the 19th over as Arafat gets a boundary. He then gets danger-man Coulter-Nile. The Aussie international hits a full-toss straight to Bravo at long-on. Game over for sure. Bravo gives just 11 runs but they needed more. It's over CSK win.

NM Coulter-Nile c Bravo b Sharma 30 (21b

=======================================================================

Over 18 || Score 123/6

These two are looking good in the middle. Coulter-Nile smashes Bravo for a six over long-on. Turner then punishes Bravo for a poor ball for a four. Nehra comes in and Coulter-Nile hits a boundary off the first ball. Turner adds another four off a high full-toss. 50 runs partnership! By the way, oops! Turner departs after trying to run off a bye and Dhoni's brilliance does him in.

=======================================================================

Over 16 || Score 98/5

Coulter-Nile flicks Bravo for a four as nine runs come from Bravo's over. Jadeja concedes nine runs too as both Nile and Turner run good between the wickets. They need boundaries and a lot of that.

=======================================================================

Over 14 || Score 80/5

Nehra comes back and does wonders yet again. He gets Adam Voges who looked plumb on a LBW. Crucial one this. Coulter-Nile and Turner at the crease as Jadeja bowls a good over for four runs. CSK looking good here.

AC Voges lbw b Nehra 27 (24b)

=======================================================================

Over 12 || Score 70/4

Voges gets two crucial boundaries off Hasting's over. 11 runs come from that over. Just when they thought of getting a push on, Ashwin strikes yet again. He goes cheaply after a LBW decision.

SM Whiteman lbw b Ashwin 5 (7b)

=======================================================================

Over 10 || Score 55/3

Marsh gets a boundary off Mohit Sharma. The Aussie looks in good touch. Jadeja continues from the other end and gives away just 5 runs from the eighth over. Hastings meanwhile is introduced and he keeps it simple. Scorchers are cautious at this moment. They need a move on. Meanwhile, Ashwin is brought back and he gets the dangerous Marsh. He goes for a sweep only to top edge the ball to Jadeja. Scorchers are in trouble!

MR Marsh c Jadeja b Ashwin 19 (26b)

=======================================================================

Over 6 || Score 35/2

Mitchell Marsh is the new batsman and Dhoni brings on Mohit Sharma who bowls an impressive first over with just two runs in the offer. Voges and Marsh need to stick on here. Double bowling change as Jadeja is introduced and Marsh hits a four over mid-wicket. Too short there.

=======================================================================

Over 4 || Score 26/2

Nehra continues and after three dot balls he gets his man. Simmons is early into the pull, and he gets a faint bottom edge for Dhoni to complete a catch. Agar comes in and a LBW appeal is turned down by the referee. Just one run from the over. Agar gets a boundary in Ashwin's over and then departs for four in the last ball. Agar looked to cut a quicker ball and is castled. Double blow for Scorchers!

AC Agar b Ashwin 4 (4b)

CJ Simmons c Dhoni b Nehra 13 (13b)

=======================================================================

There was a big change of fortune for CSK with 86 runs coming from the last four overs. Meanwhile a look at the bowling figures of the Scorcher's bowlers.

=======================================================================

Over 2 || Score 18/0

Nehra to open the bowling as Simmons and Voges make their way. Good swing to start with from Nehra. Simmons expecting more than the actual swing. Fourth ball and Simmons goes down the wicket to cover the swing, he gets a thick outside edge over point and a boundary comes off that. He follows it up with a couple of runs before hitting a superb shot for six over mid-wicket. Ashwin comes in and six runs come from the over that included a four hit by Voges.

=======================================================================

So a decent score for CSK here. Dhoni and Jadeja made the difference. The last two overs saw 39 runs come for CSK.

=======================================================================

Over 20 || Score 155/6

27 runs come from the 19th over. Arafat has a day to forget. Jadeja hits him for a four before Dhoni punishes him for two big sixes for poor bowling. Just the over CSK needed. Coulter-Nile comes in and starts with two beautiful yorkers before getting Dhoni. Jadeja had crossed and he faces the last three balls and he gets 12 runs from that. What a way to end the 20 overs with a six and four.

MS Dhoni c Turner b Coulter-Nile 35 (16b)

=======================================================================

Over 18 || Score 115/5

Skipper Dhoni is here and he heaves Arafat for a six. A yorker is missed and the ball ends as a full toss and Dhoni does the rest. CSK need more of this and both Jadeja and Dhoni can get runs here quickly. Arafat gives 12 runs and Hogg continues. Jadeja vs Hogg. The former hits a six and a four and suddenly CSK getting along well here. 150 from here on?

=======================================================================

Over 16 || Score 89/5

Bravo welcomes Turner with a six over mid-wicket. It was the sixth over when some big shot was hit. Next ball he hits a four through long-off.  Bravo goes for another shot and this time he is gone. He is bowled from round the stumps. Coulter-Nile comes in and Jadeja gets a boundary off the last delivery.

DJ Bravo b Turner 27 (26b)

=======================================================================

Over 14 || Score 69/4

Turner comes into the attack and six runs come from the over. Runs have dried up but Bravo is still there. Hogg continues and he is mixing it up there nicely.

=======================================================================

Over 12 || Score 59/4

Michael Beer again is on the money spinning his way and doing a good job for his side. Just 4 runs come. Brad Hogg continues and strikes first ball, Manhas gets a top edge on the half-sweep-half-slog. Deep midwicket takes it easily. Two runs and a wicket for Hogg. Priceless!

M Manhas c Paris b Hogg 18 (27b)

=======================================================================

Over 10 || Score 52/3

Michael Beer has kept the scoring down as he gives just five runs. Scorchers will be happy here with the way things have gone so far. Meanwhile, veteran Brad Hogg comes in and just four runs are given. CSK being kept quiet here.

=======================================================================

Over 8 || Score 43/3

Michael Beer continues beautifully giving away just two runs from the over. Bravo and Manhas need a partnership here. Arafat is keeping it tight as well. Runs come in singles and two's now.

=======================================================================

Over 6 || Score 36/3

Michael Beer comes in for Paris. Manhas chips one over extra-cover for four. Six runs come from the over. Arafat comes in and Smith treats him with a four off the first ball. But Arafat gets back and castles Smith who tried a big slog and missed his target. Bravo is the new man for CSK.

DR Smith b Yasir Arafat 11 (13b)

=======================================================================

Over 4 || Score 23/2

Double blow for Super Kings here. McCullum drills one past mid-on for a boundary off the first ball. He plays the second ball onto the stumps after trying to play through square and there is not much room. Raina comes in and goes for a wild slog, hits the inside edge, goes to short third man. Smith doesn't respond. And Raina can't complete his run back and gets out. Coulter-Nile continues and Smith gets a boundary as seven runs come from the fourth over.

======================================================================

Left disappointed after their Group A match of the Oppo Champions League Twenty20 was washed off without a single ball being bowled against Lahore Lions, Chennai Super Kings would be looking to shut out Perth Scorchers on Saturday to book their last-four spot.

The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team stays on second spot with six points in three games, after getting two from yesterday's match, while Lahore had registered their first points on board after losing their opening encounter to table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders.

Chennai had lost their first match against KKR before defeating the South African T20 champions Nashua Dolphins, who are winless from their two games.

While Kolkata already qualifying from Group A, Scorchers have one win and a loss in their two games played.

The Scorchers may not be mere pushovers for Chennai though Mitchell Marsh showed while chasing down a target of 165 set up by Dophins. Needing 12 off the last two deliveries, Marsh had dispatched seamer Robbie Frylinck over deep mid-wicket and long-on to register a stunning win for his side.

The Scorchers have a bit of experience in their line-up as seasoned chinaman bowler Brad Hogg and Pakistan T20 freelance player Yasir Arafat in their ranks.
Scorchers would look up to openers Simmons and Voges, who made an aggressive fifty, gave the team a perfect start after smashing 68 runs in 9 overs against Kolkata in last encounter.

Some of their players Sam Whiteman, Joel Paris, Jason Behrendorff with the ball have fared well for the team in the clash with Dolphins.
