Five runs needed off the last over. Yasir Arafat to bowl the last over of the innings. First ball, and he clean bowled Russell, with the help of a well disguised slower one. Piyush Chawla has come to the middle. Single off the next ball from Chawla's willow. Off the third came another single. Chawla lofted the bower over extra covers to collect a winning boundary. And with that KKR beat Perth Scorchers by three wickets, with two balls remaining. Suryakumar Yadav 43 run cameo in end off 19 balls done the trick for KKR. And mind it, it's 12 victory on the trot for the Kolkata franchise.

24 runs need off 12 balls. Coulter-Nile to bowl the penultimate over of the match. First ball a dot one. Second ball, batsmen ran three runs...and it's a Free Hit! OHH, it's the last thing Scorchers needed. Free hit, but no run. Off the next came a double. Off the fifth ball Suryakumar Yadav smacked the bowler for a six over mid-wicket. And off the last ball he hit another six in the same area. He has turned the match on his head.

Yasir Arafat ready to bowl his third over. Four singles came from the first four balls. Pathan Out! Pathan tried to clear the mid-wicket fence but couldn't manage to time the ball well and gave a simple catch to Behrendorff . Good over by the speedster as he conceded mere six runs.

After a tight 16th over by Hogg in which he conceded mere three runs, Pathan smacked Coulter-Nile's third ball for a six over deep mid-wicket. And then in the last ball Suryakumar Yadav smashed the bowler towards point region for a boundary. 12 runs came from the 17th over.

Yasir Arafat collect his first wicket of the match when he got the wicket of Doeschate in the 15th over. Suryakumar Yadav walked in to bat after the fall of Doeschate's wicket. And the talented right-hander straight away launched the speedster for two sixes to collect 19 from the over. Meanwhile, KKR crossed the mark of hundred runs as well.

KKR now need some big shots to take their required run-rate down. Pathan launched Hogg for a six over deep square leg to collect nine runs from the over. But Kolkata franchise need some more big hits like this to seal the match.

Coulter-Nile collected his second wicket in the form of Pandey in the 11th over, with the help of a perfect yorker. Danger man Yusuf Pathan has come to the middle after the fall of KKR's fourth wicket. Runs have suddenly dried up for KKR as they only managed to six runs in the last two overs. We must appreciate Scorchers fielding efforts here.

Spinner Ashton Agar has been introduced into the attack in the 8th over. And the left arm bowler bowled a decent over by conceded mere four runs. In the over Scorchers also crossed the mark of fifty runs. In the next over Yasir Arafat leaked eight runs including a boundary, which came from the blade of Pandey. In the ninth over veteran spinner Hogg bowled his opening over and gave mere six runs. 18 runs came in the last three overs.

Opener Uthappa Out! The in-form batsman who was dealing in boundaries got out in the sixth over. Uthappa went for an expensive shot but only managed a thin outside edge of his bat as wicketkeeper took a simple catch and umpire raised his finger within a flash. It's a big blow for KKR. Ryan ten Doeschate is the new man in, who has joined Manish Pandey in the middle. Pandey collected two consecutive boundaries in the over number seven off Behrendorff. 25 runs came in the last three overs.

Jason Behrendorff gave his team the second breakthrough as he got the better of Kallis, who gave a simple catch to short fine leg fielder at third over. Manish Pandey is the new man in. Joel Paris, another left-arm seamer to bowl the second over. Gambhir Out! The southpaw tried to slash the ball hard towards point region but couldn't time it well and Turner took a sharp catch at point region. Jacques Kallis replaced Gambhir in the middle and played a classy drive through covers to collect first boundary of the innings. four runs came from the over.

Mystery spinner Sunil Narine was the pick among the bowlers as he scalped four wickets in his four over quote and conceded 31 runs. Skipper and opener Adam Voges played the crucial unbeaten knock for Scorchers as he scored 71 runs of 52 balls with the help of eight boundaries and a six.

Tonight, Gautam Gambhir-led Kolkata Knight Riders will be up against the Australian outfit Perth Scorchers at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad
KKR are on a roll, as they have won eleven T20 matches on a trot. The reigning IPL champions would be high on confidence before the match as they have beaten Chennai Super Kings and the Lahore Lions in their first two group league games.
When it comes to batting line skipper Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Andre Russell and Ryan ten Doeschateand are all in form, whereas in bowling department they have a trump card in Sunil Narine.
The Scorchers may not be mere pushovers for KKR though Mitchell Marsh showed with two successive sixes in the last match against the Dolphins.
