Denied home-cooked biryani, angry MS Dhoni leads CSK out of hotel

New Delhi: After Biryani sent from Ambati Rayudu for MS Dhoni and his CSK team was not allowed by Hyderbad hotel Grand Kakatiya, the CSK skipper moved out of the hotel along with his entire team to Taj Krishna.

A furious Dhoni asked the team management to cancel the booking to move the team and support staff to Taj. Officials of the BCCI were also booked in the same hotel as the CSK team also moved out along with Dhoni.

Despite being away on Mumbai Indian's duty in Raipur, Amabati Rayudu had specially arranged home-cooked Biryani for the Team India skipper and his CSK side, which was sent to their hotel.

Despite having strict rules regarding consumption of outside food, Grand Kakatiya was willing to let the players take Biryani to their rooms. But Dhoni wanted to use the board room, which the hotel management did not permit.

The hotel staff as well as the BCCI official refused to comment on the exact reason that caused the team to move out of the five-star hotel. CSK team manager suggested the team was not happy with the hotel.

The incident happened after CSK played their match against Kolkata Knight Riders, which they lost. The team left for Bangalore on Thursday.
