Britney Spears announces first tour in Australia

Los Angeles, June 10: Britney Spears will tour Australia for the first time in her career, the US pop singer said in a statement posted on her Web site on Tuesday.

Spears has scheduled six shows in November in four Australian cities -- Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane -- with her latest tour, "The Circus Starring Britney Spears." "I`ve wanted to tour Australia for quite some time and now it`s finally happening," Spears said at her website, britneyspears.com. Since her debut as a teen pop phenomenon with the single "...
