Collingwood to undergo knee surgery after World Cup

Colombo: England all-rounder Paul Collingwood will undergo keyhole surgery on his left knee to repair minor cartilage damage after the World Cup, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Wednesday.

"Collingwood will undergo routine surgery upon his return to the UK and, whilst a recovery and rehabilitation timescale will be determined following surgery, he is expected to make a full recovery in due course," the ECB said in a statement on its website.
