Courtney Walsh appointed Windies U 19 team manager

St John’s (Antigua): Legendary former West Indies captain Courtney Walsh has been appointed team manager for the Under 19 team’s tour of the United States of America starting July 8.

Walsh, who was a former world record holder for most wickets in Test cricket, will manage the squad, which is coached by Roddy Estwick.

Former West Indies opener Stuart Williams is the assistant coach.

Test batsman Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the 14 man squad on the 4 match tour.

The West Indies team will depart the Caribbean on July 6 and return on July 16 after having played four 50 over games against the USA Under 19 team at the Broward County Cricket Stadium in Luaderhill, Florida.
