Delhi beat Tripura by innings and 130 runs

New Delhi: Milind Kumar and Sunny Sehrawat struck useful half centuries while Varun Sood shone with the ball as Delhi beat Tripura by an innings and 130 runs in the under-22 Col. C K Nayadu Trophy here on Tuesday.

After piling 334 in reply to Tripura’s first-innings total of 75, Delhi bowled out Tripura for just 129 in their second essay, with Sood taking five wickets for 18 runs.

Earlier in the day, Suman and Sehrawat laid the foundation for Delhi’s victory by scoring 84 and 71 runs, respectively.
