Despite Pakistan recall, Mohammad Amir could still miss NZ tour

New Delhi: Tainted fast bowler Mohammad Amir was on Friday named in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming New Zealand tour.

However, there is still a possibility of the pacer not boarding the plane to New Zealand.

The 23-year-old's comeback is dependent on him getting a visa and clearance to tour New Zealand.

In case there are issues with his travel documents, Mohammad Irfan will replace him in the T20 squad.

It now remains to be seen whether there will be another twist in this long drawn out saga.
