London: Katie Price aka Jordan was chasing her alleged new lover well before she split up with husband Peter Andre, it’s been claimed. The 31-year-old glamour model bombarded cage-fighting champ Alex Reid with text messages for around a year after getting his number from her personal trainer Sol Gilbert.
Although the pair didn’t begin their fling until last week – over two months since her split from Peter – the mother-of-three became smitten with Alex after seeing a picture of him.
“She got his number from Sol Gilbert, her martial arts trainer, when she saw a picture of him about a year ago,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
“She was even sending texts while she was in Los Angeles with Peter and the children. But it was only last weekend they actually got together.
“Katie always wants the best and when she homed in on her man nothing was going to stop her,” the source added.
Reid has reportedly moved into Price``s mansion after leaving his mother’s home.
However, a pal of Kate’s denied the latest revelations, saying: “Kate only met Alex two weeks ago, they had no communication before that. As for him moving in, that has not happened.”
Jordan is said to be so smitten with Reid she wants to marry him.
