While Patel notched up 76, Bhavik Thakar and Sami Patel were at the crease at 52 and 41 respectively.
For the hosts, medium pacer Abu Nachim Ahmed and spinners Arlan Konwar and Tarinder Singh were the most successful scalping one each.
