I will continue to play for Kerala, says Sreesanth

Thiruvananthapuram: Medium pacer S Sreesanth, who had hinted at playing for other state after being ignored for the captaincy of Kerala Ranji team, on Tuesday said he had no rift with the state cricket association and would continue to play for his home state.

The tempermental Sreesanth said he was not for any controversy over the issue. `I always want to represent Indian team as a Keralite and I will continue to play for Kerala", he told reporters on the side lines of a function here.

`I only mentioned my opinion during an interview and nothing more to be attributed to it`, Sreesanth, who had last week expressed disappointment on not being appointed as captain of the Kerala Ranji Trophy team, said.
