Actor Arshad Warsi, best known for his `Circuit` role in film `Munnabhai MBBS`, says that he is open to experiment with serious roles.

Mumbai, July 02: Actor Arshad Warsi, best known for his `Circuit` role in film Munnabhai MBBS, says that he is open to experiment with serious roles. "Audience appreciate only good performances and I have no apprehensions whether or not they would accept me in a different avatar," Arshad told reporters.
He said he would not like to do a serious character just for a sake of it. "There should be a good story and script so that justice can be done to the character," Arshad said. Arshad said he has tried to give a different touch to all the comedy characters he has portrayed so far. "You will not find any element of `Circuit` in my characters of `Golmal`, `Dhamal` or soon to be released `Shortkut`," he said. Speaking about `Shortkut` to be released on July 10, Arshad said he plays a negative role in in the film. "I am the meanest person in the film. He does not care about others and is interested only in becoming a big star even though he can`t act. I am a bad man but plays the character in such a funny way that the audience will not hate me," he said. Arshad denied that he had any problems with co-star Akshaye Khanna during the making of the film. "I know Akshaye very well and we have worked together earlier. This rumour is rubbish," he said. Arshad said he was looking forward to playing `Circuit` again with `Munnabhai chale amrika` going on floors in mid-2010. To a question on whether he is annoyed with Rohit Shetty for giving him a raw deal in `Golmal Returns`, Arshad said,"People who watched the film complained that I was nowhere to be seen in it. I have no issues with Rohit Shetty on this matter." On asked why he is not part of Shetty`s upcoming project "All the Best", Arshad said, "I cant be in all his films. There was no role for me in it." Apart from `Shortkut`, Arshad`s upcoming films are `Ishkiyan` and `Kaun Bola`. Bureau Report
