Nemat’s knock helps Jharkhand post decent 233 for 7

Agartala: Propelled by a brisk 55 by Rameez Nemat, Jharkhand made a solid 233 for 7 on the opening day of Ranji Trophy Plate A match against hosts Tripura at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Stadium here on Monday.

While Nemat stiched the useful 55 from 100 deliveries (4x8), he was ably assisted by Ishank Jaggi (44 - 4x5).

Team India ODI member in recent Australia series Saurabh Tiwary made a quickfire 20 (4x4).

For Tripura, Jayanta Debnath (1-46) bowled and spooned Tiwary, while Subal Chowdhury got two scalps for 52. Wilkin Mota took two for 60.

The match was called off 15 minutes before schedule due to bad light.
