Jagadeesh misses double ton; remains not out on 199

New Delhi: Opener VA Jagadeesh was left stranded on 199 as Kerela scored 314 against Services in their Ranji Trophy Group C match, here on Sunday.

Jagdeesh began the day at 126 and fell short of partners. None of the other Kerala batsman could score even a fifty as Akshat Kodoth was the next best batsman with a score of 32.

In reply, Services were 84 for two at stumps on day two.

Soumik Chatterjee (27) and Soumya Swain (30) were at the crease for Services.

Jagadeesh`s knock came off 384 balls with the help of 19 fours and a six.

Kerala 1st innings: 314 all out in 134.5 overs. (V Jagadeesh 199 not out, Akshat Kodoth 32; Suraj Yadav 4/95)

Services 1st innings: 84 for two in 34 overs.(Soumik Chatterjee 27 batting, Soumya Swain 30 not out; S Sandep Warrier 2/13).
