Baroda consolidate against Vidarbha

Chauhan scored 118 off 291 balls while Solanki made 120 off 293 deliveries. While Chauhan hit 16 fours and a six during his 417-minute stay in the middle, Solanki found the fence 15 times and cleared it once while staying at the crease for 445 minutes. Shortly after declaring their innings, Baroda were rewarded with the wicket of Anniruddha Chore when stumps were drawn for the day. At close of play, Vidarbha were three for no loss. Baroda had yesterday bundled out Vidarbha for 264 at the Moti Bagh Stadium. Resuming on an overnight score of 192 for two, Baroda largely rode on the third wicket stand of 190 runs between Chauhan and Solanki. Vidarbha are trailing by 247 runs with nine wickets remaining. Brief scores: Vidarbha: 264 all out in 101 overs (Hemang Badani 111 not out; Firdaush Bhaja 3/50, Murtuja Vahora 3/94) and three for no loss in four overs.
