Rajkot: Baffled by the performance in both batting and bowling department so far, a disappointed Saurashtra will take on Railways in the fifth round of Elite division Ranji Trophy match against Railways starting at SCA stadium Khandheri here on Wednesday.

Saurashtra who have just three points in four matches will be looking to pocket maximum points against Railways who have not had a good season so far having three points in four matches.

"We have to put everything in this crucial game against Railways to make sure to be in the elite division," said Assistant Coach of Saurashtra Hitesh Goswami.

Chteshwar Pujara, who missed first three games, would be shouldering batting responsibility in the company of seasoned Sitanshu Kotak, Chirag Pathak, Pratik Mehta and captain Jaydev Shah.

While the new ball would be operated by Jaydev Unadkat and Sandip Maniar, Rakesh Dhruve and Kamlesh Makwaa would be the two specialist spinners in the side.

Railways would be heavily reliant on the batting of Sanjay Bangar and Yere Gaud. Faiz Fazal and Mahesh Rawat have also done well with the bat this season and look to be in good form.

Railways bowling would be led by left arm leg spinner Murli Karthik to be supported by Sanjay Bangar and J P Yadav.
