Police arrested for prying on Parker`s surrogate

London: `Sex and the City` star Sarah Jessica Parker and her actor husband Matthew Broderick are baffled with the arrest of two Ohio police officers who were caught prying on the surrogate mother of their twins.The high profile couple who had twin girls with the surrogate have kept her identity a secret, fearing the inevitable media frenzy.

But the two accused policemen were caught while trying to break into the surrogate`s home with the intention of gathering details, which they planned to sell to a tabloid, Femalefirst reported. Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack were booked into a prison in Ohio jail on charges of burglary and receiving stolen property on Wednesday.
