New Delhi: Pakistan veteran bastman Younis Khan became his nation's first ever cricketer to complete 9000 runs in Test cricket.

The experienced campaigner achieved the feat against England in the ongoing second Test match in Dubai. Younis had recently become Pakistan's leading run-scorer in Tests by overtaking Javed Miandad's long-standing mark of 8832 runs.

The seasoned batsman has been a big source of inspiration and strength for all cricketers around the world.

Playing in his 103rd Test match, Younis has been a great ambassador for his nation as he achieves another milestone in his glittering career.

The crowd in Dubai applauded Younis for the new milestone.

Younis has several records for Pakistan in Test cricket. He is the only Pakistani batsman to have hit a century against all Test playing nations.
