Eng clinch series 2-0 as rain spoils third Test

Birmingham: The Edgbaston Test played between West Indies and England was suspended due to rain as England won the three-test series 2-0. A single ball couldn’t be bowled on the fourth day.
Two days were earlier washed out due to consistent rain and the umpires were forced to take the decision as they rainfall once again hampered the proceedings on the fourth day.
At the end of the third day, England were trailing by 205 runs with just five wickets in hand.
West Indies had put up a formidable score of 426 runs as a result of a 133-run partnership between Dinesh Ramdin (107) and Tino Best (95*).
Best went on to take two wickets as England were reeling at the end of the third day.
The rain came as a heartbreak for the Windies players who were looking to salvage some pride by winning the third Test.
