England facing scheduling misery over playing 99 Tests

London: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) faces more scheduling misery after the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed their Future Tours Programme (FTP) for the next eight years.

England will now play 99 Tests between 2012 and 2020 – more than any other country.

Only Australia will play more than 90 Tests within the eight-year time span, with South Africa playing 74 and New Zealand and the West Indies just 66, a newspaper reports.

Andrew Strauss’s men will also play well over 100 ODIs.

The FTP also includes an unofficial window for the Indian Premier League.
