Dubai: Former England batsman Geoffrey Boycott feels that England must perform on subcontinent to be regarded as world`s best after the 10 wicket drubbing they got at the hands of Pakistan in the first Test.
Geoffrey Boycott said, “They even played badly in the World Cup last year, which was held in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Until they start playing well in the subcontinent they can`t call themselves the best team in the world and definitely can`t be judged against some of the other great England sides."
England were rattled by the spin of Saeed Ajmal who took a match haul of 10 for 97.
