England to play 3 Tests, 4 ODIs, 3 T20s on Pakistan tour in UAE next year

The ICC has prevented teams from touring Pakistan since a Sri Lanka team bus was ambushed by gunmen in Lahore in March 2009.

London: England will play three Tests and four one-day internationals (ODIs) on their Pakistan tour next year.
England will also play three Twenty20 internationals on the two-month tour, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the security problems posed by playing in Pakistan, Sky Sports reports. The ICC has prevented teams from touring Pakistan since a Sri Lanka team bus was ambushed by gunmen in Lahore in March 2009, the report said. England are due to arrive in the UAE on January 3, and will play two 3-day warm-up matches before the first Test in Dubai a fortnight later. The second Test will be played at Abu Dhabi, while the final match of the series will take place in Dubai. The first two Twenty20 matches will be played in Dubai on on February 23) and February 25 respectively, and the tour will conclude with the third T20 in Abu Dhabi on February 27. ANI
