England's Jos Buttler could play in IPL 2016
Till last season of IPL, English board was unwilling to send their players to the league.
New Delhi: Jos Buttler, who holds the record for England's fastest One-Day International (ODI) century, is likely to play in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), according to his national cricket team chief coach Trevor Bayliss.
As England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is ready to give their players more exposure with white ball, Bayliss feels this could be a possibility for the the 25-year-old Lancashire batsman.
"It's something we've spoken about. If the opportunity arrives and he (Buttler) is not in the Test team and the IPL window is a possibility, I'd be all for it," said Bayliss to PTI.
Till last season of the cash-rich T20 tournament, English board was unwilling to send their players to the league.
This year's IPL is scheduled to be played between April 8 and May 29.
