Haridwar: The ashes of Gayatri Devi, former Jaipur royal, were today immersed in the Ganga here.
Her family members reached the bank of the river carrying the urn and immersed her ashes in the river amid the chanting of Vedic hymns.
Devi died in Jaipur on July 29 at the age of 90.
