Former Ranji player passes away

Rajkot: Former Ranji trophy player of Saurashtra, Narendrasinh Rana passed away in Apollo hospital in Chennai last night, family sources said on Friday.

Rana, 42, was suffering from liver disease and was admitted to hospital last month, sources said.

Born on September 5, 1970 in Gondal town of Rajkot district, Rana played 33 first class matches for Saurashtra and 20 list A matches from 1990 to 2002.
