Good response from advertisers for India-SA series

Mumbai: The upcoming India-South Africa Test series, a contest between the top two ranked teams in the world, and the subsequent ODI series between the two nations has been a huge draw with advertisers, said broadcast rights holders Ten Sports channel here on Monday.

The channel has signed up a record dozen sponsors with advertisement bookings "in excess of Rs 130 crore for the series," said Joy Chakraborthy, Chief Revenue Officer of Zee, which owns Ten Sports.

The Test series commences with the opening match at SuperSport Park, Centurion on December 16 and ends with the third match at Newlands, Cape Town from January 2-6, 2011. The second Test is at Kingsmead in Durban from December 26.

A one-off Twenty20 International will be held at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Kingsmead on January 9 which will be followed by the best-of-five ODI series from January 12-23.
