Harbhajan Singh bowls magical spell in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

New Delhi: Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh on Sunday was in spectacular form for Punjab in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Bhajji produced a stunning spell of off-spin bowling in the second match against Jammu and Kashmir in the ongoing T20 tournament.

He picked up three wickets, conceding just 8 runs in four over.

The 35-year-old dismissed Mithun Manhas, Parvez Rasool and Zahoor Sofi in a spell that comprised of 16 dot balls.

Baltej Singh too bagged three wickets, as J&K were bowled out for a paltry 105.

Bhajji will need more such performances in the tournament before he takes the flight for the Australian tour.

More importantly, with the ICC World T20 to be played on home soil in March, an in-form Harbhajan can definitely be India's trump card.

Punjab lost their first Group B match against Rajasthan on Saturday.
