New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid, who is widely regarded as a true gentleman of the sport, also had the reputation of being one of the most serious cricketers on the field.
While he continues to be one of the most respected figures in Indian cricket, there aren't many anecdotes where he has been part of funny incidents.
However, in one of the speeches, The Wall bowled the audience over as he imitated his team-mate Sachin Tendulkar.
Dravid recalled an incident told to him by Sanjay Manjrekar, where West Zone hadn't picked a spinner on a match which proved to be a rank-turner, and while Sanjay, Ravi Shastri and others discussed the plan of action, Tendulkar walked upto them and said in his soft voice, "Main daalega!"
