Australia plays down `weak against spin` talk despite World T20 fallout
Australia has reportedly refused to accept that their top order is weak against spin bowling despite the glaring statistics from the World Twenty20 that highlight their weakness.

Sydney: Australia has reportedly refused to accept that their top order is weak against spin bowling despite the glaring statistics from the World Twenty20 that highlight their weakness.
Australia were knocked out of the tournament following spin-triggered collapses in their losses against Pakistan, West Indies and India.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Australia captain Shane Watson has backed coach Darren Lehmann `s assertion that their team is not concerned about slow bowling despite their recent 73-run defeat to India.
Despite Australia`s 4-0 Test mauling in India last year and now their top five losing 14 of their 15 wickets to spinners across the three World T20 matches, Watson said that he does not relate the current status of his team from where they were during the 4-0 series loss in India.
Watson also said that they obviously lost in India due to spin but there were other few issues going on with his team at that stage.
However, the skipper said that it is not the case now and he has tried to blank that defeat out of his mind adding that the team had improved since then.
Watson also added that he did not entirely feel that spin played a huge role in their loss to India in their recent World T20 clash, but added that it was no doubt the Indian pacers who bowled very well first up and made it difficult for them to score.
