Brisbane: Riding on the century by captain Anamul Haque (101), Bangladesh registered their first victory in the Under-19 World Cup match against Sri Lanka at Allan Border Field in Brisbane.

Asif Ahmed contributed 84 runs to Bangladesh’s tally of 249 for 7, which proved to be out of reach for the Sri Lankans as they were all out for 224 after 48.4 overs.
